Two junior classrooms are accommodated in an efficient timber-framed structure built on the existing floor slab of a redundant and highly-inefficient prefab classroom. The new building was economical to build, requiring no groundworks and achieves a high standards of environmental performance.
This modest building makes use of locally-sourced Sweet Chestnut wall cladding supplied by Inwood Developments and economical, industrial-profiled fibre cement roofing on a highly-insulated timber frame structure.
